Our approach

1. In-take call

Understand your business, strategy and culture. Identify your hiring needs. Prepare the job description and case study. Align on recruitment process.
2. Sampling

We’ll start the search and share a sample list of 10 potential candidates with you to check if we’re fully aligned. If yes, we kick-off the search. If not, we schedule another call to re-calibrate.
3. Talent search

We set-up a candidate pool and start the search. We’ll keep you closely updated on how candidates respond, even when they aren't interested so that we can learn and make adjustments.
4. Screening calls

All candidates go through a rigorous screening process. If we feel we've spoken to a contender, we’ll send you a detailed report which tells you all about their skills, ambitions and expectations — so you can decide if someone is not only a technical but also a cultural fit.
5. Introduction

We set up a meeting between you and the candidate so you have the chance to see if the cultural fit with your team and company is there. We prep you as well as the candidate so both parties are aware of the most important subjects and thus preventing parties finding themselves having preventable doubts afterwards.
6. Case presentation

After you’ve concluded the candidate is a great cultural fit we need to make sure their technical skills are up to par. They present a business case to one or two members of your team after which you decide to proceed or not. We have extensive experience with creating these cases and can do this for you or join forces with your team.
7. Offer

We help you making sure there all communication is clear about the candidates wishes and what you offer so as to ensure the negotiation is a smooth and pleasant experience for both sides. We remain available for advice during the onboarding phase.

Jan-Ernst is a senior talent acquisition specialist focusing on commercial leadership roles for scale-ups and corporations.
Starting as a headhunter at Jobs and Media Group in 2015 he learned the trade and found his passion. After becoming unsatisfied with the standard way recruitment agencies operate, he launched his own consultancy in 2020 working with a select amount of companies at a time and thus being able to deliver higher quality results. He works directly with founders and embeds himself in the company's culture to make the best matches possible.

Chamzat is an experienced growth leader with a passion for innovative marketplaces and consumer brands.
He joined Otrium as one of the first 10 and spent 5 years contributing to its hyper growth from seed stage to Series C. He built the Growth Marketing team from scratch to 12 fte and led various key strategic initiatives.
Prior to that, he ran The Partnr – a whitelabel performance marketing consultancy working for Belgium’s leading digital agencies including KIXX, The Growth Agency, and Hybrid.
